Event operational information

Please take note of the following information and event timelines. These timelines are in place to assist us with operational planning, athlete management and supplier management. The following information is further outlined in the terms and conditions agreed to by all entrants at the time of entering : –

1. Substitutions

Substitutions can be made up to the 23rd of March 2021. After that, we cannot substitute athletes as all rider details are 1st submitted to to seeding, then to our public liability insurance. You cannot ride under the name of another rider, the terms and conditions were agreed to by yourself and the organising party and in turn the event insurers. Should something happen to you on route, we cannot legally assist you. Thank you for your understanding in this regard. 

2. Cancellations and refunds

Standard Refund policy, the Shift Concepts standard refund policy may be applied by individual event organisers and is agreed to by registrants. 

– Outside 45 days of the event : 50% refund

– 45 – 14 of the event : 25% refund

– Within 14 days of the event : 0% refund

No refunds will be issued for Covid 19 related withdrawals, the risk of such is for the registrants to manage. Furthermore, the company can not be held liable for any cancellations or postponements due to Government regulations, insurrection, force Majeure or Act of God or State.

For postponed races the original deadline for a partial refund or transfer are not postponed along with the event and only apply to the initial race date.

3. Deferrals

There are no deferrals to future events being offered as the event is going ahead. Should the event have to postponed, then all entries will be deferred to the future date.

4. Seeding

Event seeding is provided by SAS. SAS is currently updating their systems and we are aware that some riders may have duplicate profiles. For this reason, we need to make sure your details current. Emails have been sent to riders with outstanding details. 

5. Changing of entry category

Riders will be able to change entry category until the 19th of March 2021. In the case of a downgrade, refunds on the difference in entry fee’s will not be provided.
